Consistently considered one of the top golf courses in the state, the course at Minnehaha Country Club has a celebrated beginning. The foundation for today’s 18-hole course was designed and executed in the 1920s by Langford and Moreau, renowned landscape engineers and golf course architects based in Chicago.
The course, nestled between the Sioux River and Sherman Park, is of parkland design. It boasts fast, undulating greens and tight fairways. Course rating from the back tees is 71.3 with a slope of 132. Course rating from the middle tee is 69.1 with a slope of 128. Course rating from forward tees is 71.0 with a slope of 127. Maximum play time for 18 holes is four hours and all USGA rules of golf govern play.
Minnehaha Country Club’s course is also home to one of the finest practice facilities in the area, including target greens of varying distances. Golfers can work on a full range of skills from sand shots, to chipping, pitching, putting, or full swing.
