Children are a valued part of the Minnehaha Country Club family. In addition to providing numerous activities designed for children of members and a children’s menu in all areas of the Club, we also provide supervised care when you are using Club facilities. We provide a secure environment, activities like arts and crafts, learning opportunities, and adult supervision at the pool.

When the summer sun shines and the temperatures warm, the Minnehaha Country Club pool has long been a prime gathering place. In fact, many of our longtime members say it is where they met childhood friends that have lasted a lifetime.

There is no doubt the MCC pool is a fun spot to spend a summer day, but our swimming program offers so much more. Highly qualified lifeguards and swimming instructors can help develop swimming and water safety skills in this state-of-the-art pool complete with lap lane, diving pit, slide, water basketball court and a separate kiddy pool.

The pool area includes a dining area, loungers, surround-sound music system, the Cabana snack bar, meal and beverage service, changing rooms, a teen diner, children’s facility and towel service.

Weather permitting, the pool season opens Tuesday, May 18th and is open every day from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. until Labor Day. Lifeguards are on duty during pool hours.

Staff
You can be assured that MCC lifeguards and instructors will provide a safe and great learning environment. The entire pool staff is certified in lifeguarding, WSI, CPR, and first aid.

Pool Events
The season begins with a Kick Off the Summer Party Friday, May 21st from 5:00-8:00 PM with a taco and fajita bar.  The fun continues with 4th Annual Kids Carival Friday, August 13th from 5:00-8:00 PM. Carnival type food, blow-ups, pool games and more. 
The season’s biggest pool event is the July 4th celebration, including pool games and the Big Splash Contest. Individualized pool parties are available with advanced reservations.
